The Alconbury Weald Community Association Hardship Fund exists to provide compassionate, short term financial support to residents of Alconbury Weald who are experiencing unexpected hardship.
Life can change quickly. Illness, job loss, family crisis or an unforeseen expense can leave anyone struggling. Our aim is to provide practical assistance during difficult times, helping people overcome immediate challenges while preserving dignity, respect and confidentiality.
The fund offers one off grants to help with essential needs where other sources of support may not be available or may take time to access. Every application is considered fairly and individually by an independent panel, using clear eligibility criteria and available funding.
We believe that a stronger community is one where neighbours support one another, and no one has to face hardship alone.

Grant Guidelines

Applicants must be local residents facing economic strain or crises who have support from a Social Prescriber referral.

Identify Fund Uses
We assist with grocery costs, overdue utility bills, children's school needs, or urgent transport and household items.

Complete the form with honest details, attaching proof of your situation and the mandatory professional validation note.

Panel Decision
Once your full pack is ready, a private board assesses it against our criteria. We will contact you with their final verdict.
